Beverly Randall Stevens, age 88 of Shelton and formerly of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Henry (Mit) Stevens, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024, in Bishop Wicke Health Center. Beverly was born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Donald and Gladys Jones Randall. She retired as the office manager for the Director of Public Works for the Town of Trumbull, Beverly was very involved at Long Hill Methodist Church, serving as a Sunday School Teacher, Girl Scout Leader, and Cub Scout Den Leader. She was the first woman to receive the Merit Award from the Pomperaug District and was a Den Leader Instructor. After her retirement she became office manager of Busy Bee Cleaning. Survivors include her devoted children Glenn H. Stevens and wife Kathy of Beacon Falls, two daughters, Pamela J. Stevens and wife Mary Ann Palazzi of Stratford and Lori A. Koripsky and husband Bob of Stratford, cherished grandchildren Alyssa and Jonathan Stevens, Robert and Steven Koripsky and Christopher J. Stevens, three great grandchildren Rhys and Colbie Stevens, and Harper Koripsky, a brother Donald Randall of Shelton, and a niece Robin Freedlander of Virginia. She was predeceased by her son John C. Stevens. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00a.m., meeting directly in Long Hill United Methodist Church, 6358 Main Street, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds.
