Barbara Jean Lumley Pagerino, age 82 passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Griffin Hospital with her loving family at her side. Born in Des Moines, Iowa her family moved to Bridgeport in 1945. Raised and educated locally, she attended Columbus School and Bridgeport High School. She was actively involved in the North End Boys and Girls Club for many years. She was a Yankee fan, Sinatra fan and loved Engelbert Humperdinck. She moved to Las Vegas, NV in 1987 for 23 years and enjoyed working at Bally’s Casino, and volunteering at Carefree Senior Living where she lived. Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Frank J. (Rock) Pagerino. Survivors include her 5 children, Randy Daskam of Milford, Donna Nolan (John) of Shelton, Shirley Kealey (Bob) of Shelton, Annie Mailloux (Marc) of Chapel Hill, NC, Frances Steller (Steve) of Enfield, step-son, Frank Pagerino (Pat) of Shelton, brothers Pete Lumley (Deborah) of Orange, Jack Lumley (Shirley) of Fairfield, Jerry Olmsted (Susan) of Ansonia, Ronnie Olmsted (Marilyn) of Coral Springs, FL, 8 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her mother, Helen Olmsted, brother, Vern Lumley, 2 step sons, Robert and Michael Pagerino and her cherished niece and Godchild, Linda Lumley. She touched the hearts and lives of many people during her lifetime, was loved by all and will be sorely missed. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:00am from the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 10:00am in St. Augustine Cathedral, Bridgeport with a Mass of Christian Burial.
