Carol Meade Sirotnak, age 84 of Black Rock passed away Friday, June 9, 2017 in her home. She was the beloved wife of Robert Sirotnak. Born in Bridgeport and raised in Trumbull, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret McGuire Meade. Carol was a graduate of Lauralton Hall and the St. Vincent’s School of Nursing. As a Registered Nurse she worked her entire career at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. She loved taking care of her grandchildren and will be greatly missed by her neighbors and the Black Rock Community. In addition to her husband Robert she is survived by her children, Lauren Keating, Bobbie McConachie and her husband Peter, Bill Sirotnak and his wife Judy, and Michael Sirotnak and his wife Anne, sister Lynne Gilleard and her husband Greg, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Bill Meade and sister Judith Faulkner. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00am in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
