Adolph (Al) M. Stepkovitch, age 92 of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Stella Stepkovitch for 67 years, passed away January 29, 2014 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Adolph was born in Olyphant, PA, son of the late Martin and Henrietta Kulig Stepkovitch, and spent most of his life in Bridgeport. He received his degree from Bridgeport Engineering Institute and was an engineer for Sikorsky Aircraft and before that worked at Singer Manufacturing Company. Al was a United States veteran of World War II, serving with the Army Air Corps, and was a member of the Catholic War Veterans. He served as an usher at St. Andrew Church. In addition to his beloved wife Stella, survivors include his devoted daughters; Geri Gray and husband Raymond of Trumbull, and Joyce Swanson of Derby, three cherished grandchildren; Kristopher Kernaghan and wife Dawn, Kathryn Gray, and Stephanie Swanson. He was predeceased by his 12 siblings. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00a.m., in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private with full military honors in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
