Agnes Marie Lowrey, 93 of Bell, Florida passed away July 18, 2014. Mrs. Lowrey was born in Bridgeport, CT on Sept. 6, 1920. She retired from the State of Connecticut and moved to the Bell area in 2008 from Stratford, CT. Mrs. Lowrey was a member of the Gaelic American Club, Fairfield and Ladies Auxiliary VFW, Stratford. She enjoyed music, singing, playing the piano and reading. Her most enjoyment in life was her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Joseph and Kim Lowrey of West Palm Beach, FL., Patricia and John Kiely of Bridgeport, CT., John and Nora Lowrey of Bell, FL., Catherine Shetty of Bridgeport, CT., and Susan Winkler of Gilbert, AZ., a sister Dolores Fitzsimmon of St. Augustine, FL., 8 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Mrs. Lowrey was predeceased by her husband Joseph Lowrey, her parents, John F. and Agnes Devaney, a brother, John Devaney Jr. and sister, Catherine Wallace. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00am meeting directly in St. Patrick's Church, Bridgeport with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
