Albert W. Arnold, Jr. "Al" was born in Norwalk, CT August 11, 1961, Al was a lover of history - Napoleonic, Prussian, WWI, WWII, he loved it all.  He enjoyed recreating historically accurate models and did research to make sure each one was exactly as they should be!  Prussian Blue - a color he loved to use and point out on any/every occasion he saw it!  Al loved his truck... he waited a long time for one and was so happy to have it!  Al was an avid drummer.  He collected drums, reworked them, created new setups and played.  He played long and often and he was gifted as a drummer.  He played and you understood it was music not banging on the drum. :)  Al loved music...he always had music playing while he was on the internet or working on his drums or outside, there was always music. ...  and if it wasn't music, it was old movies... and John Wayne!   Al loved to cook out on the grill and hang out near a fire pit... and he loved his dog, Suki.  She was 'his girl'.  Al is survived by his wife, Mary Janice Ligouri Arnold, his sister Bambi Lynn Arnold, his dear cousins Pam and Levi Aguinaldo of Maui, Hawaii, Paige Kamaka of Salem, Oregon and Bonnie Knettle of Montana, His father in law, John Ligouri, Brother and sister in law Jay and Laura Ligouri and his nephew and niece John and Kaitlyn Ligouri.  He was so excited to be an uncle and pass on his knowledge to a younger generation!  Al is also survived by his childhood friends Dave Lewis, Bruce Clark and John Vecere.  Al is predeceased by his parents, Albert W. Arnold, Sr and Faith Ann Gandrup Arnold of Mallard Road Norwalk, Calling hours are Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 4-8 pm in Redgate - Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Funeral Services are Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Al believed in masks and protecting others from Covid.  Please be prepared to wear a mask at the funeral home.
