Albert C. Domizio, age 92 husband of the late Mae Brust Domizio, was a former resident of Monroe, died on Tuesday, November 13, 2007, at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Mr. Domizio was born in Wappinger Falls, NY, on September 8, 1915 and was son of the late Stefano and Mary Ciccone DiDomizio. He was employed with Bryant Electric for many years and had formerly been a long time member of the Brownson Country Club. Mr. Domizio was also a member of the Bridgeport Traffic Association, the New Haven Traffic Association, past President of the Delta Nu Alpha transportation fraternity of Fairfield County, Chapter 68, the Trumbull Senior Citizens and St. Theresa's Senior Citizens, He is survived by his beloved daughters, Barbara Souza and husband John of Monroe and Wellington, FL, Mary Ann Shukait and husband Eugene of Copperopolis, CA and Arnold, CA, and Linda Domizio, three sisters, Ann Barker of Vero Beach, FL, Alice Muriano of Shelton, and Dolores Scalzo of Syracuse, NY, sister-in-law Gina Domizio of Bridgeport, grandchildren Phillip J. Ferraro, Jr., Elaine Sabo, Karen Mullen, Keith Shukait, Kathy Shukait, and Michele Andreetta, several great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Albert Domizio, Jr., four brothers and a sister, Dominic, George, Alfred, Gabriel Domizio, and Genevieve Contolini. Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 8:30 a.m. from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial.
