Albert M. Takach, age 51, of Pompano Beach, Florida, passed away October 7, 2010, at Vitas Hospice, Fort Lauderdale. Albert was the beloved son of the late Albert and Darlyn Perkins Takach. Raised in Monroe, he was a graduate of Masuk High School and lived in Huntington, Beacon Falls and Ansonia for several years. Survivors include a brother, Gary W. Takach and wife Gale Iannone of North Haven and a sister, Darlene B. Wasilewski and husband Patrick of Park City, Utah, nephews and nieces, Amanda Takach, Jennifer Booth, Scott Wasilewski and Allison Wasilewski, cousins, Joseph Demko, Arlene Vaisil, Glenn Takach and Wayne Takach; also several additional cousins. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 am, in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, with the Reverend Kregg M. Gabor, Pastor of United Methodist Church of Monroe, officiating. Interment will follow in Monroe Center Cemetery. Friends may call Friday, 4:00 – 8:00 pm, with readings to be offered at 7:30 pm.
