Alice Dolega, age 95, of Trumbull CT, passed away peacefully with family in attendance on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Manor Lake Assisted Living facility in Dawsonville GA. Alice was born in Bridgeport CT in 1929. She met her husband, and first love there, and was married to Anthony Dolega 72 years before he passed away February 12, 2023. They settled in Trumbull where they stayed for 62 happy years. Alice was a stay-at-home mom for the most part until she became a payroll clerk at St Joseph's Manor in Trumbull. She loved to read, bowl with her husband and friends from the senior center and spend time with her family. Alice moved to Georgia after her husband passed, to live with her daughter Lisa. She enjoyed the mild climate, riding on the golf cart, sitting on the back porch having lunch and playing Uno with the family. She was a devoted mother and will be missed by all who knew her. Alice is survived by her daughter Lisa McGaha and husband Jerry, son Keith Dolega and wife Linda (Rumsey), Grandchildren, Amanda (Dolega) Godsey and Matt, Sean and Laura McGaha, and Samatha and Michael Dolega, step grandchildren Ryan and Annie Barber, Nicol and Luke Rotherfield, Erika and Todd Scheer. Alice is predeceased by her son Kurt Dolega. Friends may gather Friday at 12:00p.m., Noon, in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and 4 Gorham Place, Trumbull. Funeral service will begin at 12:30pm, followed by graveside services at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull.
