Alice Brown Healy, 91 of Naples, FL passed away peacefully on September 2nd 2012. Born in Bridgeport, CT on June 30th, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret McGee Brown. She graduated from Lauralton Hall High School in 1940. Alice was married to John C. Healy on July 25th 1942; they were married 30 years before his death. Alice worked as a Student Loan Officer at City Trust Bank in Bridgeport, CT for over 30 years. She was a tremendously talented singer who sang with the USO during World War II and with many big name bands. She continued to sing at social functions throughout her entire life. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading, bowling, and the New York Yankees, attending games as recently as last year. Alice is survived by her daughter Barbara Ames of Stratford, CT, son Paul Healy and his wife Jacalyn of Sarasota, FL, Grandchildren Christian Ames and his wife Colleen of Athens, NY, Lauren Tegins and her husband John of Sparks, NV, Erica Healy of Kansas City, KS, Jeremy Ames and his wife Marcie of Shelton, CT, Kenneth Healy and his wife Connie of Sarasota, FL, 12 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many friends whom she considered family. Alice is preceded in death by her husband John, her brothers James and John and her sister Mary. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:15am from the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 11:00am in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull with a Mass of Christian Burial.
