Alice Marie Peet, 68, longtime Bridgeport resident and retiree of Bridgeport Hospital died Monday, May 11, 2015.  Daughter of the late Alice Duquette Peet and William Howard Peet, Jr, she was born on October 22, 1946. Alice was a graduate of Warren Harding High School, received a Bachelor's degree from Housatonic Community College and a Master's degree from the University of Bridgeport.  She had a career that spanned more than 30 years as a lab technician at Bridgeport Hospital. She loved the Lord and attended church regularly.  She had a beautiful voice, loved to sing and often sang solo for weddings and other events. She was an avid animal-lover and generously supported the ASPCA, World Wildlife Foundation and frequently volunteered at the CT Humane Society's Westport shelter.  She had two beautiful cats, Lucy and Quincy, at the time of her death. Alice leaves behind a brother, Howard Peet, a sister, Patricia Hurley, several nieces and nephews, as well as grand nieces and nephews, and many friends and colleagues. She is predeceased by a brother, Robert Trinkley. She will be greatly missed.
