Andrew J. Francia, age 24 of Stratford, beloved son of Jody Valente-Francia and the late Michael J. Francia, passed away suddenly on June 28, 2018, in his home. Andrew was born in Norwalk, and was a Soldier Medic with the United States Army National Guard, serving with 102 Infantry. He enjoyed working for Wells Hollow Farm, Shelton and Fencecraft, Norwalk. He looked forward to attending UCONN, Storrs pursuing a degree in nursing, obtaining his EMT certification and a hobby of bee farming.  In addition to his mother survivors include his devoted brother Daniel M. Francia of Shelton, and Darrow Rofhok who was like an older brother and his wife Shea, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00a.m., meeting directly in Assumption Church, 98 Riverside Avenue, Westport, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with full military honors will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Westport. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to CJD Foundation, P.O.
