Anita Plushkin DiStefano, age 70 a lifelong Bridgeport resident, passed away Monday, October 23, 2017. Anita was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Dorothy Frankel Plushkin. She enjoyed traveling with friends, especially to Florida, Nevada, and Tennessee. Survivors include two loving sons Brian J. DiStefano and wife Jenna of Woodbury and Michael E. DiStefano and wife Megan of Branford, a brother Mark P. Plushkin of Bridgeport, five cherished grandchildren whom she loved caring for Gabriella, Domenic, Madelynne, Michael and Bridget, dear friends Paul Palumbo, Lou Lamonica, Erik Mihok, Robert Bocchino and several members of the DiStefano family. Friends may greet the family on Saturday from 1:00p.m. to 4:00p.m., in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, a prayer service will take place at 2:00p.m. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
