Anita T. Caporelli Wilding, age 85 of Brookfield, beloved wife of the late Gerald A. Wilding, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014 in Danbury Hospital. Anita was born in Carbondale, PA, daughter of the late John and Carmella Cerra Caporelli and was a Trumbull resident for 40 years before moving to Brookfield five years ago. She retired as an inspector for the VCA/Owens Company. Anita loved having family and friends over for dinner especially during the holidays and will be remembered by many for the happy times spent sitting in her kitchen in Trumbull. Survivors include her loving daughter Karen with whom she resided, former son in law David Deaver and several beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Anita was predeceased by her son Gary J. Wilding, a brother and two sisters; Phillip Caporelli, Concetta Giarelli and Susan McClune. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00a.m., meeting directly in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton Street, Bridgeport, with a Mass of Christian Burial.
