Anthony Dolega, age 93 of Trumbull passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Alice M Dolega. Born in Bridgeport CT, he was the son of the late Michael and Josephine Dolega. Anthony was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during the Korean War. During this time he met his wife, Alice, married and settled in Trumbull. He was District Manager at the Bridgeport Post Publishing Company for 50 years. He loved to garden and grow beautiful flowers along with meeting friends to bowl each week. Anthony was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Lisa McGaha and her husband Jerry, his son Keith Dolega and his wife Linda (Rumsey), grandchildren, Laura and Sean McGaha, Samantha and Michael Dolega, Amanda and Matt Godsey , Stepgrandchildren Ryan Barber, Nicole and Luke Rotherfield, Erika and Todd Scheer and special family members Janice and David Hugya.He was predeceased by his son, Kurt Dolega. Private Funeral services will be held. Interment with Full Military Honors will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
