Arne P. Palmieri, age 57 of Shelton, passed away, Sunday, June 12, 2011 in Griffin Hospital, Derby. Arne was born is Derby, son of Anne Marchenko Palmieri and the late Anthony Palmieri, Sr. He was a special unique individual who touched many lives, and had a strong faith in God. Arne loved to cook, garden, being outdoors, poetry, reading, and was very artistic especially with his stained glass creations. He was a member of the choir at St. Pius X Church, Fairfield, as well as other choirs in the past. Survivors in addition to his mother Anne, include his partner of 21 years Michael P. Lantowski of Shelton, a sister Lynn Palmieri of Derby, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Arne was a wonderful caregiver to Michael's brother, Matthew Lantowski, Jr. of Westport. He was predeceased in addition to his father by a brother Anthony Palmieri, Jr. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30a.m. meeting directly in St. John's Episcopal Church, 768 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport. Interment will be Friday at 1:00p.m. in Mount St. Peter Cemetery, Derby. Friends may call Wednesday, from 4 to 8p.m. in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
