Barbara Cimelus Rogers RN, a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Friend passed away on with her loved ones by her side.  She was born in Bridgeport on June 26, 1938, to the late George R. Cimelus, Sr. and Catherine Haraske Cimelus.

She graduated from Bassick High School in 1957 and Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing in 1960.  She was a Registered Nurse who had a gift for serving others.

Barbara is survived by her Husband of 63 years, Michael and her two Daughters, Michele Wargo and Kathleen Kretvix and her Husband Richard all of Stratford.  She was a proud Mema to her Grandchildren, Ashley Wargo, Haley Wargo, Ryan Kretvix and his Wife Brittany and Alexis Kretvix.  She was also a new Great-Grandmother to Isabella Kretvix who she recently traveled to California to meet.  She is also survived by her loyal dog Pixie.  Spending time with her Grandchildren was her greatest enjoyment.  Her memory will live on in their hearts.

She was predeceased by her Sister, Joyce Cimelus and Brother, George R. Cimelus, Jr.

Friends are invited to Roosevelt Forest, 700 Peters Lane, Stratford on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm to reminisce and honor the life of Barbara.

Friends and Family are invited to attend her funeral services on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Grace Church, 497 Second Hill Lane, Stratford. Internment will be private.
