Barry F. Inwood, age 65 of Trumbull died Sunday, January 26, 2025, at St. Vincents Medical Center. Born in Norwalk he was the son of James Herbert and Lois Veronica Jordan Inwood. He was a resident of New Canaan for many years and worked for the Town of New Canaan public works department. Barry was loved and a friend to many. He enjoyed music and concerts, attending over 200 Grateful Dead shows. Barry was a big sports fan of the Minnesota Vikings, Boston Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics, Notre Dame, Bridgeport Sound Tigers and Bluefish. He also played softball and was given the nickname "Wheels" for his speed. Survivors include his brother, James "Tim" Inwood and his wife Sue Ellen of Trumbull, nieces and nephews Jamie and Becky Inwood, Kate and Matthew Ambrose.
