Beverly Fox Curley, age 82 of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Robert W. Curley, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. She was born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late George T. and Rose Cavanaugh Fox and was a lifelong Bridgeport resident. Beverly retired as a Special Needs Life Skills Coach for the Stratford Public School System. She was a fifty-four year member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, and held a variety of positions including; past president of the Mae King Division # 65 of Bridgeport, as well as county past president. Beverly was a devoted communicant of St. Theresa Parish, and was a member of the Share the Word Group. Survivors include her devoted children Robert W. Curley Jr., and wife Lorraine of Dublin, OH, Elizabeth A. Hammond and husband John of Naugatuck, and Eileen M. Curley of New Haven, three grandchildren Daniel P. Steele, Kathleen R. Steele, and Michael R. and Jaime Hammond, two great grandchildren Michael R. Jr. and Max Burton Hammond, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother and sister George Fox and Eleanor Stravecky. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00a.m., meeting directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
