Brian T. Zahorsky, age 34, of Bridgeport, passed away Friday, January 17, 2014 in his home. Brian was a lifelong city resident and had recently received his certification in fitness training. He was looking forward to his true passion, a career as a personal trainer.  Brian was predeceased by his father Timothy J. Zahorsky and leaves his beloved mother, Geraldine (Gerri) Mete Signore and her husband Fred of Bridgeport, a brother, Steven G. Zahorsky and Jessica DiCicco of Bridgeport, maternal grandmother, Elinor Mete of Bridgeport, three aunts, Cathy Zahorsky and Kevin Gronrose of Bridgeport, Lill Devin of CA and Lorraine Pearcy of Bridgeport, two uncles, David T. Zahorsky of Monroe and Brian M. Zahorsky of Bridgeport, cousin Lily Devin of CA and additional cousins.  Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton St., Bridgeport.  Interment will be private and there will be no prior calling hours.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2080 Silas Deane Highway, 2nd Floor, Rocky Hill, CT 06067, www.diabetes.org.
