Camille R. Galati, age 76, beloved wife of the late Frank Galati, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in Cambridge Manor, Fairfield. Camille was born in Bridgeport on November 25, 1937, daughter of the late Salvatore and Rose Pinto Muratore and was a lifelong Bridgeport resident, prior to her residency at Cambridge Manor. She worked many years for the Boys and Girls Club of Bridgeport as an office manager and executive secretary prior to retiring. Camille brought joy into the lives of her family, she loved piano, music, crafts, ceramics, painting and was quite the baker, including making wedding cakes. She was PTA president with St. Patrick's School when her children were young where she also ran bingo. Survivors include her devoted sons; Dominick Gallo and wife Alice Timmerman of Bridgeport, and Salvatore Gallo and wife Theresa of Oxford. The pride of her life was her four wonderful grandchildren three grandsons Dominick Gallo Jr. and wife Jennifer of Waterbury, Frank Gallo and wife Danielle of New York, and Salvatore Gallo and wife Marci of New Jersey, one granddaughter with whom Camille had a very special bond with and who she was so very proud of Christina Gallo of Oxford, great grandchildren Candice, Frankie Jr., Jaden, and Justin, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Kevin. The family wishes to thank the staff of Cambridge Manor for the ten years they cared for Camille. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:00a.m., from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, and at 10:00a.m., in St. Patrick Church, Bridgeport, with a Mass of Christian Burial.
