Carl Michael Szymanski, Jr. age 64 of Shelton, passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mike was born in Bridgeport son of the late Carl M. Sr. and Gladys Wagner Szymanski, and raised in Trumbull. He was an Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War, and a plastics engineer for Medsource Technologies Inc. Survivors include his devoted children; Michael Martin of Oakville, Heidi Klussmann of Torrington, Nichole DiBeneditto and husband Jeff of Oakville, and Paul Szymanski and fiancé Heather Wilcox of Danbury, three grandchildren; Brandon, Tyler and J.J., two sisters; Kathleen Szymanski of Midlothian VA, and Patricia Szymanski of Shelton. He was predeceased by a brother Gerard Szymanski. Friends are invited to attend graveside services with full military honors on Wednesday at 10:00a.m., in Lawncroft Cemetery, 1740 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield.
