Carlos M. Moreno, age 83, beloved husband of Violeta Reyes Moreno, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at St. Vincent's Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Carlos was born in Rincon, Puerto Rico, on June 30, 1932, son of the late Francisco and Maria Tirado Moreno, and lived in Westport and Queens, NY before moving to Bridgeport. After holding various positions throughout his professional career, he retired from Bloomingdale's in New York City. Survivors in addition to his wife Violeta include his loving children; Carlos Moreno and wife Lauren of Monroe, Liz Moreno of Bridgeport, Evelyn Moreno of New York City, Maritza Moreno of Melbourne, FL, Tesireita (Daisy) R. Venegas of  Waverly, NY, and also  Dr. Celia (Tati) M. Moreno Reed, Doris (Nene) Thornton, Elaine Moreno, and Carlos M. Moreno Jr.; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, including Takisha, Luis, Rachel, Elise, Erik, Alexander, Andrew, and Jacob;  one brother and sister; Rafael Moreno and wife Sonia of Rincon, PR and Milagros Moreno of New York City, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by nine brothers and sisters. Friends may call Saturday from 2p.m. to 6p.m. in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
