Caroline A. Sliva Tilt, age 87 of Trumbull passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Frost Warren Tilt. Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of Peter and Katherine Paciorek Sliva. Caroline worked for many years in the credit department at People's Bank. She has survived by her son, Theodore P. Tilt and his wife, Karen, daughter, Tamara Doherty, and her husband, Patrick, daughter-in-law, Doreen Tilt, brothers, Peter and Charles Sliva, sister, Cecelia Sliva, grandchildren Charleen, Shauna, Kiersten, Erin, and Clara, great grandchildren, Santino and Naomi, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Caroline was pre-deceased by her son, Frost and her brothers and sisters, John, Stanley, Stephen, Joseph, Frank, Mary, Frances and Dorothy. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30AM in Saint Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
