Catherine Mulvihill McNamara, age 91, a resident of Maefair Health Care, died Friday, January 11, 2008. She was the beloved wife of the late William E. McNamara. Born in Grand Rapids, MI, she was a former resident of Easton and Coachlight Square, Bridgeport. Mrs. McNamara received a Bachelor of Science degree from Albertus Magnus College and retired after many years as a medical technologist for St. Vincent's Medical Center. Survivors include her beloved children, a daughter, Jane M. Bittner of New Milford and a son, Martin J. McNamara of Riverside, CA, three grandchildren, Alison Bittner, Matthew Bittner and his fiancée Ann Marie Campbell and Sara Bittner, a niece, Janet Roberts, great niece, Tara Roberts and her dear lifelong friend, Jeanette M. Risley. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, January 16, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton St., Bridgeport. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Easton. There will be no prior calling hours.
