Charles R. Braun, age 81, of Easton, died Saturday, January 10, 2009. Mr. Braun was born in Boston, MA, son of the late Karl and Helen Muenz Braun and had been an Easton resident 40 years. An Army veteran of World War II, he retired as a bank officer for City Trust Bank and after retirement worked as a substitute teacher in Easton and area towns. He was a member of the A.A.R.P. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret Flanagan Braun and daughter Carole Anne Braun. Survivors include his loving and devoted son, Charles R. Braun Jr. and his wife Anna and cherished granddaughter, Margaret (Meg) Braun, all of San Diego, CA. Private family services were held in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Trumbull.
