Charles H. Kelley, age78 of Trumbull, beloved husband of Kathleen Colgan Kelley, passed away, Sunday, December 12, 2010, in St. Vincent's Medical Center, after complications of lung disease. Charles was born in Bridgeport, son of the late Otis and Catherine Lee Kelley, and raised in Vermont. He graduated from Mt. St. Joseph's Catholic High School and attended St. Michael's College, both in Vermont. Charles was a retired sales representative for General Electric Company, with many career relocations. He was a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran, serving in the Korean War. Charles was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed fishing and gardening. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife include three sons; Thomas J. Kelley and wife Susan of Shrewsbury, VT, Stephen D. Kelley and wife Van of North Haven, and David C. Kelley of Trumbull, three grandchildren; Thomas, Crystal, and Shannon Kelley, three nieces and several cousins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:15am from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, and at 11:00am in St. Theresa Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial.
