Charles H. Kessler, age 69 of Bridgeport passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 14, 2018. He was the devoted husband of Noreen Gleason Kessler. He was the son of the late Robert and Oline Kessler of Topeka, Kansas. Charles worked as a Facility Inspector for Southern Connecticut Gas. The gentle giant was the beloved patriarch of his large, adoring idiosyncratic family. In addition to his wife, Noreen, he is survived by his children, Christopher Kessler, Kate Kessler-Santos and her husband Peter, Sara Kessler, Molly MacKenzie and her husband David, and Charles Kessler, grandchildren Jack and Peyton Santos who loved going to Papa's house, his brothers Thomas and Herbert, and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to greet his family on Sunday 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., in the Redgate - Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
