Charles R. Kochefko, Jr., age 75, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 7, 2022. A lifelong resident of Bridgeport, he was the eldest beloved son of Charles and Stella Kochefko. Predeceased by his brother Raymond Kochefko, he is survived by his two other brothers Ronald and Robert. Charles enjoyed sailing on Long Island Sound and traveling for adventure to all four corners of the world as an officer in the Merchant Marine. He intelligently navigated his life, always a gentleman, quietly carrying family responsibilities and hard work without complaint. For more than 40 years Charles enjoyed photography and was also an avid motorcycle tourer. The motorcycle trips with his brothers and his friends included visits to all 50 states as well as Alaska and Canada. These are unforgettable and cherished moments. Charles was always helpful and respectful to those around him. His positive energy in life will endure and be gratefully remembered forever.
