Chris M. DeLuca, Jr., age 72, entered into eternal rest on December 8, 2023 at Maefair Healthcare Center in Trumbull, CT. Chris was born in Bridgeport, CT on February 11, 1951 to the late Chris and Dolores (Melfi) DeLuca. He graduated from St. Ambrose School in Bridgeport in 1964, Notre Dame Boys High School in Fairfield in 1968, and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Central Connecticut State College in 1973. He continued his education at Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport and Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. He entered into the medical profession as a Senior Clerk for Bridgeport Hospital and retired as a Medical Research Associate performing oncology clinical research trials for several prestigious hospitals and research facilities throughout the country. Chris had an amazing and unique love for the arts. He enjoyed listening to music and attending concerts and going to the theater to see plays and movies. He also had an uncanny ability to find the best, and sometimes unusual, places to eat and dined out often. Chris leaves four loving siblings, Ann Marie, Dolores, Michael and wife Robin DeLuca and Laura Falco and husband Kenny, close family friends Linda Demanchyk and George Batza and several cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Maefair Healthcare Center, especially his aide Debbie and APRN Chris, for their care and support.
