Cindy A. Crowley, age 55, of Shelton, beloved mother of Jason J. Crowley, passed away suddenly Saturday, July 11, 2015, in her home. Cindy was born in Bridgeport, beloved daughter of Carmella (Dolly) V. Pento Crowley and the late Clifford V. Crowley. She was raised in Trumbull and was a graduate of Trumbull High School, class of 1978, she attended Sacred Heart University and Housatonic College, receiving her certification as an Addiction Counselor, a career in which she went on to help many individuals. Prior to her work as a counselor, she was with the Vitramon Corp. and Scholastic Publications. Cindy had a love for all animals and especially her canine companion Nanook. In addition to her son and his companion Yvonne Riccio of Shelton and her mother Dolly of Trumbull. Cindy leaves a loving sister and brother, Dawn Kail of Trumbull and Dale J. Crowley of Spokane, Washington, grandson, Brandon C. Crowley and a niece, three nephews, great nieces and nephews, also several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 18, at 11:00 a.m., meeting direct at St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial.
