David L. Chisnall, age 87 of Trumbull, beloved husband of Marilyn Laske Chisnall passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012. David was born in Bridgeport on February 4, 1925, son of the late John and Eve Reilly Chisnall. He was a graduate of Stratford High School, and received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Connecticut. For many years David was a director and officer of Sormir Petroleum Company, New York, NY, and Westport. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the 95th Infantry Division, Patton 3rd Army. David and Marilyn enjoyed spending time at their Harwich, MA home. Survivors in addition to his wife include three devoted daughters; Sharon Tobin and husband Joseph of Bethel, Lauren Chisnall and husband James Pouilliard of Harwinton, and Diane Chisnall Joy and husband Richard of Oxford, three loving grandchildren; Crystal Chandler and husband James, Katharine Louik and husband Max, and Adam Pouilliard. He was predeceased by his brother John H. Chisnall. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., meeting directly in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Avenue, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7:00 p.m. in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
