BRAINARD Diane Lynn Brainard, age 47, of Shelton, entered into rest on Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at the Hospital of St. Raphael's. She was the devoted wife of Howard L. Brainard. Diane was born in Derby on May 25, 1959 loving daughter of George and Dorothy Ewen Mando Sr. and was a lifelong Shelton resident. Diane was the secretary and treasurer for Brainard's, Inc. for many years. Diane was the beloved mother of Christopher and Brian Brainard; and sister of George Mando Jr.; and is also survived by her nephews, Shawn and Michael Mando. Friends may greet the family on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton. Her funeral service will be on Monday at 9 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev.
