Donald E. Reardon, age 87, of Trumbull, beloved husband of the late Claire M. Quellette Reardon, passed away in his home Sunday, August 30, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Donald was born in Bridgeport and raised in Monroe. The family lived for many years in Fairfield, before Donald and his wife moved to Trumbull in 1998. Donald was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during World War II and retired as a foreman for the State of Connecticut Highway Department. He is survived by his devoted children, a son Philip D. Reardon and his wife Cheri of Trumbull and a daughter Julianne Reardon of Missoula, Montana, a brother Robert Reardon, four grandchildren Danielle Reardon, Philip D. Reardon Jr., Monica Reardon and Iris Jandreau and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his older brother Harold. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:15 a.m. from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial.
