Dorothy Sherwood Baranowsky age 96 of Trumbull died Monday, September 8, 2008 at the Northbridge Health Care Center. Born in Southport she was predeceased by her husbands, John McDonald and George Baranowsky and her son Thomas McDonald. Survivors include her son Robert G. McDonald, her sister Edith Donnegan, and seven grandchildren, Robert J., Tara, David, Thomas, Mary Beth, Meghan, and Sean and ten great grandchildren. Mrs. Baranowsky was an artist who enjoyed knitting. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00am in St. Andrew Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call Thursday morning 9:00am – 10:30am in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
