Dorothy Daly Hough, age 80 of Trumbull, beloved and devoted wife of Harold R. (Bob) Hough, passed away suddenly, Monday November 28, 2011 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Dorothy was born in Worcester, MA, daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Maloney Daly and was extremely proud of her Irish heritage. She lived most of her life in the area and Trumbull since 1967. She was a 1949 graduate of Bassick High School and retired from the personnel department for the Town of Trumbull where she worked for 15 years. Dorothy was a member of the Gaelic – American Club and the Sikorsky Retiree Club. In addition to her beloved husband of 59 years, she is survived by her loving children, a daughter, Maureen Mocker and husband John of Trumbull, a son, Robert Hough and wife Colleen of Milford, four cherished grandchildren, Colleen and Jack Mocker and Ryan and Patrick Hough; also a brother, William Daly of St. Petersburg, FL. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Arsenault. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:00 am meeting directly at Christ the King Church, Trumbull with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds. Friends may Thursday, 4:00 – 8:00 pm., in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
