Edna D. Lindholm Vercini, age 85, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Fred Vercini, died Friday, November 14, 2008, at the Carolton Chronic and Convalescent Hospital, Fairfield. Mrs. Vercini was born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Frank and Mary Dean Lindholm, was raised in Baldwin, Long Island and has lived in Trumbull over fifty years. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Adelphia University. Mrs. Vercini's career began with the Bridgeport Telegram-Post Newspaper and she went on to become a publicist for General Electric retiring after thirty years. She enjoyed gardening and her feline companion Giuseppe. Survivors include her devoted daughter, Melinda Vercini Noonan of Trumbull, two granddaughters, Jessica Fischetti of Bedminster, NJ and Miranda McCray of Brooklyn, NY; also two great grandchildren, Matthew and Caroline Fischetti. A memorial service will take place at a future date.
