Edward Hegedus, age 69 a lifelong Fairfield resident, died September 4, 2010 in his home. He was the beloved son of the late Otto D. and Thelma Bogart Hegedus. Edward was a supermarket manager employed by Shaw's, Pantry Pride and Grand Union throughout his career. He also did carpentry work part time. He was a member of many antique and classic car clubs and received many awards at car shows. Survivors include his loving cousins, Lorraine Seccia of Woodbridge and Lester Bogart of East Haven and their families and several other cousins. Friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service, Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Mountain Grove Cemetery, 2675 North Avenue, Bridgeport.
