Eleanor M. Rideg Brust, age 91 of Trumbull died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 70 years George A. Brust on March 6, 2011. Born in Fairfield, she was a resident of Trumbull for 54 years. Mrs. Brust was a wife, mother and telephone operator at S.N.E.T. Co. She was a member of the Seniors Club at Edison of Trumbull. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her beloved son, George R. Brust, three brothers and five sisters. She is survived by son Gerald A. Brust and his wife Joanna of Knoxville, TN, her daughter Geraldine R. Brust of Monroe, two sisters-in-law Irene Bush of Tamarac, FL and Pearl B. Norton of Vero Beach, FL, seven grandchildren, one great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Friends may greet her family Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from 10:00am – 11:30am in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
