Eleanor "Junie" M. Sutay Wargo, age 90 of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Wargo, passed away, Monday, July 24, 2023 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Eleanor was born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late John and Gertrude Jackson Sutay, and was a long time Trumbull resident before moving to Shelton. She worked in quality control for Dresser Incorporated, and was a member of the Seniors' Club of Trumbull and the Friendship Club at St. Catherine's. Survivors include her brother George Sutay and wife Jeanette, a sister Alice Grady and husband Tom, nieces Janet Rotunda, Kaitlin Rotunda, also many additional nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her brothers John and Edward Sutay, her infant twin sister Joan, sisters Trudy Melius, Marge Kearsley and Rita Bernardo. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00a.m., from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, and at 11:00a.m., in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Road, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery. Friends may call Monday morning from 9:00a.m. to 10:00a.m., in the funeral home.
