Elizabeth Fato Bachleda, age 92 of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Albert P. Bachleda, Sr., passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at St. Joseph's Center. Elizabeth was born in Barnesboro, PA, daughter of the late Vito and Dora Pinto Fato, and was a graduate of Barnesboro High School. She was a Bridgeport resident for forty years, retired from the Remington Rand Shaver Company, and enjoyed retirement with her husband for twenty years in Spring Hill, FL. Elizabeth loved to bake, well known especially for her poppy seed and nut roll, loved by her family, friends and co-workers who made certain they got their holiday orders in early. Survivors include her devoted children; Albert M. Bachleda, Jr. of Milford, and Doreen E. Dortenzio and husband Christopher of Huntington, three cherished grandchildren; Christopher Jr., Alexander, and Victoria Dortenzio, a brother Cosimo Fato of Bridgeport, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother and three sisters; Peter Fato, Mary Seat, Anna Sopko, and Margaret Fracassini. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:00a.m., from the Redgate - Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, and at 10:00a.m., in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Avenue, Huntington, with a Mass of Christian Burial.
