Elizabeth Meyer Jennings, of Seymour and formerly Easton, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at Griffin Hospital, Derby. She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence F. Jennings. Mrs. Jennings was born in Easton, daughter of the late Matthew and Amelia Knapik Meyer and lived her life in Easton, before moving just a few years ago. She was a former member of the Lady's Guild at Notre Dame of Easton Church. Survivors include her daughter, Sarah Verrelli and husband Joseph of Stratford, sons, Christopher S.K. Jennings of Fairfield and Charles M. Jennings and wife Gilda of Frederica, DE, a sister, Frances Donnelly of Holly Hill, Fl, five grandchildren, Kelly, Melanie and Lee Deninger, Katharine Fernback and Adam Jennings; also many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend her funeral, Saturday at 9:00 a.m., meeting directly at Notre Dame of Easton Church, 640 Morehouse Road, Easton, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. There will be no prior calling hours.
