Elizabeth Ann Walsh (1954-2023) Elizabeth, also fondly known as Beth, Bethy, Boz, and Auntie Beth, was born in Bridgeport, CT in 1954 to parents William and Joan Walsh. Beth was a longtime resident of Trumbull, CT. Beth was the oldest of 6 children. Chasing after her four younger brothers was likely the foundation of her athleticism, though she slowed down a bit when her baby sister Mary was born. Beth was an integral part of her Trumbull High School basketball team, where she was a member of the first graduating class at the new high school on Strobel Road in 1972. She was an avid tennis player and a star in all the Walsh family backyard sporting events. She enjoyed biking and hiking in "The Valley" and in the outdoors more generally.  Later in life she became a dog lover, one who valued the importance of adopting dogs without a home. Beth earned her Master's Degree from Fairfield University in the field of social work.  She enjoyed specifically working in the area of Marriage and Family Therapy. Beth was preceded in death by her parents, William and Joan Walsh, and her beloved dog, Koda.  She leaves behind four brothers, Bill Walsh (Nancy),Trumbull CT, Jim Walsh (Debbi), Westerly RI, David Walsh, Castleton VA, Matt Walsh (Joanne), Wolfeboro NH,  her sister/goddaughter, Mary Klesyk (Matt Klesyk) Ansonia CT, and her faithful companion, Buttercup.  Auntie Beth will also be missed by her 8 nieces and nephews: Ben, Michaela, Meaghan, Jonathon, Zachary, Alexandra, Kyle, and Colin. A memorial mass for Beth will be held at 10:30 AM on December 9, 2023 at Christ the King Church in Trumbull.
