Ethel Hunyadi Bede, age 91 of Bridgeport died Thursday, June 5, 2014 in her home. She was the beloved wife of the late John Bede. Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Galya Hunyadi. Mrs. Bede attended Fannie A. Smith School for her teaching certification and taught kindergarten at Madison School for over twenty years. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, wife, sister and caring aunt that was devoted to her family. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by her brothers, Elmer, Richard, Alfred and Matthew and her sister Emma. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, and her devoted caregiver and companion Maria Moroz.  Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 noon in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call Saturday morning from 11:00am – 12 noon.
