Evangeline "Angie" Daigle Michaud, age 99 of Fairfield was taken to Heaven by Angels on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Bertram G. Michaud. Born in Fort Kent, Maine she was the daughter of the late Lucien and Helen Thibodeau Daigle. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Linda DuBois and Frances Palumbo, son Gary G. Michaud, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter. She was predeceased by her daughter Phyllis, her brothers, Renaud, Allan, Eldon and Hugh and sisters, Yvette, Lorette, and Rita. Angie was an excellent seamstress, a Marshall of the Fairfield Elks for 50 years, loved to bake, knit and play Canasta on Friday nights with the girls. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 28th at 11:00am meeting directly in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield with a Mass of Christian Burial.
