Evelyn C. Becker died on January 13, 2017 at Maefair Health Care Center in Trumbull.  She was born in Bridgeport to Susan and Anthony Cuvitilo, and was the wife of the late W. Rex Becker who predeceased her in 1975. She attended local schools and graduated from Weylister Junior College for Girls in Milford, CT. She enjoyed a long and active career in fund raising in New York City, and also worked at Fairfield University, and was a long time resident of Bridgeport and then Fairfield. Mrs. Becker was predeceased by her brother, Hugh M. Cuvitilo.   Survivors include her sisters Mitzi Bonvini Friedman, Fairfield, and Yolanda Dorrian, Newtown, her beloved nephews Roger Bonvini, Robert Bonvini and Tony Dorrian and nieces Anita Ignaszewski and Lisa O'Melia who were like her children. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 18 at 10:00 AM., meeting directly at St. Stephen Church, 6948 Main Street, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial.  Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield.  There will be no prior calling hours and those who desire may make a contribution to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492.
