Evelyn Kovacs Ecsedy, age 75 of Trumbull died Sunday November 7, 2010 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ida Lenart Kovacs. Mrs. Ecsedy graduated from Central High School Class of 1953 and the University of Bridgeport. She was a retired secretary employed by the Trumbull Times and Laidlaw Bus Company. She volunteered as a dispatcher for Trumbull E.M.S. for many years. Her hobbies included cooking, gardening, antiques, and bird watching. Survivors include her children, sons, Michael S. Ecsedy and Lynn of Brookfield, Steven R. Ecsedy of Bridgeport, Gary Ecsedy and Maria Coehlo of Trumbull, daughter Cindy Ecsedy of Trumbull, grandchildren Ryan, Kathryn and Karen Ecsedy and Shannon Mraz. She was predeceased by the father of her children Ernest R. Ecsedy. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30am in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
