Evelyn Clark Halligan age 88 of Trumbull died Monday, April 9, 2007 at Ludlowe Care Center, Fairfield. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas P. Halligan. Born in Bridgeport she was a lifelong Bridgeport area resident. Mrs. Halligan worked for Electronics Components and was a member of International Brotherhood of Teamsters AFL-CIO Bridgeport Chapter Local 191. She was a member of the Our Lady of Good Counsel Rosary Confraternity (President 1960) and a member of the Social Club at Stern Village. She is survived by her beloved children, Thomas P. Halligan Jr. and his wife Lynn of Vernon, Dr. Kathleen Halligan of Portland, Margaret Reekie of Naugatuck, Richard Halligan and his wife Gloria of Watertown, Clark Halligan of Chatham, NY, Judith Sharp and her husband, Gary of Stephentown, NY and Philip Halligan of Fairfield, 13 cherished grandchildren, Carolyn, Patrick, Theresa, John, Lara, Scott, Jennifer, James, Lynzee, Brittney, Matthew, Katharine, and Kyle, six great grandchildren, Emily, Nathan, Scott, Ryan, Max, and Thomas, her devoted niece, Barbara, brothers, Charles, Kenneth, Richard, Thomas, and Robert, sisters, Mildred, Virginia, Jesse and Emma Jane, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her brothers, Russell, Dudley and William, and sisters, Midge and Ann. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:00am from the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 10:00am in St. Andrew Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may call Friday 2-8pm.
