Fernande (Fern) Roy of Fairfield, Connecticut passed away suddenly Thursday, October 1, 2015 at St. Vincent's Medical Center.   Fern was born on June 29, 1938 and raised in Lewiston, Maine, the daughter of Albert and Aline Gaultier Lizotte.  She was a homemaker, worked as a chef, and enjoyed music, shopping and finding the perfect gift for her family, bird watching and spending time with family. Mrs. Roy is survived by her husband of 52 years Charles Roy, two daughters, Doreen Roy Harmon and her husband Moe Harmon of Seymour, CT, Karen Roy DeWeese and her husband Cory DeWeese of Trumbull, CT as well as her beloved four grandchildren, Haley DeWeese, Patrick Harmon, Jack Harmon and Madeline Harmon. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 5, 2015 at 10:00am in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Entombment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield.
