Florence "Dolly" Fernandes, of Bridgeport, passed away January 21, 2013, in her home. Dolly was born in Harwich, MA, daughter of the late Manuel and Geneva Nunes Fernandes and had lived most of her life in Bridgeport. She retired from Casco Products Inc. Survivors include her loving brother and sisters, Alfred Fernandez of Spain, Frances Santos of Bridgeport, Priscilla Gonsalves of Preston and Mary Dennis of Quincy, MA and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Manuel Fernandes and two sisters, Theresa Lopes and Stella Fernandes. Funeral services will be held Monday, at 10:15 a.m., from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m., in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
